Yummy’s House Vol 1: Last Sundays at La Familia Street Culture

Yummy’s House Vol 1: Last Sundays at La Familia Street Culture - La Familia Street Culture

On 30 March 2025, our store transformed into something magical. In partnership with Yumbs, La Familia Street Culture hosted an exclusive event—Yummy’s House Vol 1, the first installment of Last Sundays by the Yumborghini Club. What went down was nothing short of legendary.

This wasn’t just a listening session. It was a cultural moment. With only around 40 handpicked guests in attendance, the vibe was deliberately intimate and elevated. Inside, you were met with the familiar luxury of our curated sneaker displays, now accented by laid-back seating, mood lighting, and the unmistakable energy of a private Amapiano takeover.

Yumbs—the Private School Amapiano maestro—delivered a live mix, previewing unreleased tracks from his upcoming EP Yummy’s House Vol 1. The sound was rich, the transitions smooth, and the beats set the tone for an evening that brought the right people into the right space at the right time.

Surprise pull-ups from the likes of DBN Gogo, Uncle Vinny, and JazziQ only added to the electricity of the evening. It felt like the culture was right here—gathered around sneakers, smoke, and new-age sound.

Outside on the terrace, the La Familia hookah lounge was in full swing, with clinks of glasses and stories flowing just as smoothly as the shisha pipes. Inside, the internal production team captured it all—this wasn’t just an event, it was documentation of a moment.

We curated more than just a party. We curated an experience. This was about championing emerging sounds, real connections, and a mature crowd who truly get the music and the movement, something La Familia had concentrated itself into since our early days. From the crisp visuals and unreleased sounds to the subtle flexes and real laughs, Last Sundays delivered exactly what the streets needed—just elevated.
